Why the name "bLog in Your Own Eye"?

Matthew 7:3 - 5 "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye."

We should all endeavor to think rightly about ourselves and graciously about one another. We all have specks and logs in our eyes.

Exams.... :-/

Well, this year in my Omnibus class, I've been reading stuff like Genesis, Exodus, Isaiah, etc., but I also have been reading The Odyssey (by Homer), The Histories (by Herodotus), Aeschulus (by ....?) and others; and I'm in middle school. So I've had a big reading load, and I'm still not done with it all. Plus I have 3 exams coming up in two weeks, which I need to do some major studying for. :( But I'll try to remember you folks here, readers of The bLog in Your Own Eye, so don't worry. Once I've passed exams, I'm going to try to start the Christian teen blog, since I have some friends who might want to help with it. Suggestions, comments, tips, anything are welcome on starting a new blog!

Try to get a domain name for your blog. (try to stay away from goDaddy 1&1 and netfirms are good for that, from what I've heard, although never used). You can port blogger to a domain name, or use something similar, but more powerful, called wordpress or typepad.

Cool, thanks! But they're still free, right? I think I've seen some blogs like that...

No, but they are only $10 a year if you use wordpress/typepad online or blogger.
You can also buy hosting for ~ $5 a month and host stuff there (a website, fourm blog) or just a wordpress blog.

Hmm.... I don't know... I'm sure it'd be nice to have... I'll check with some people who might help write for it and see what their opinion is. Thanks for the info!
